This market will resolve according to the winner of Titled Tuesday on September 1, 2026 11:59 PM ET. If the listed player does not play their corresponding market will resolve to "No". If this tournament is postponed after September 15, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, canceled, or a winner has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other." If multiple players are declared winner, this market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizer, Chess.com (https://www.chess.com/events/info/2026-titled-tuesday-blitz); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The deep field of titled grandmasters in Chess.com’s weekly 11-round 5-minute blitz event keeps implied probabilities tightly bunched, with Carlsen and Nakamura each at 17.5% and a cluster of established names at 7% or below. Nakamura’s consistent high ratings and recent strong showings in major online events, alongside Carlsen’s August 4 victory and proven record in this format, underpin their modest leads. However, recent results demonstrate the competitive balance: Duda claimed the August 25 title ahead of Erigaisi, Firouzja won outright in late July, and other frequent contenders including Abdusattorov, Sarana, and younger talents have secured victories or near-misses in 2026 editions. Blitz volatility, large participant pools exceeding 400 players, and the absence of confirmed absences or fatigue factors for September 1 maintain the race open among dozens of viable contenders.
