The move followed Q2 earnings and delivery updates released in late July, with traders weighing softer European registrations and ongoing NHTSA suspension probes against resilient analyst price targets clustered near 380–490. Broader equity sentiment, Treasury yields, and EV-sector rotation provided additional context, while short-term options activity reflected uncertainty around any immediate regulatory or sales catalysts before the next quarterly update in October. Market-implied odds in related prediction markets consolidated toward the upper end of observed weekly levels as real capital reflected these dynamics.
