Silver prices have climbed sharply into the mid-$63 area amid renewed safe-haven buying and robust industrial demand from solar and electronics sectors. The primary near-term catalyst is the July CPI release on August 12, followed by PPI data, which will shape expectations for Federal Reserve policy and Treasury yields. A hotter-than-expected print could strengthen the dollar and pressure precious metals, while cooler inflation would support further upside. Traders are also monitoring gold’s correlation and any shifts in USD strength or risk sentiment. With silver recently clearing its 50-day moving average, the market-implied odds reflect sensitivity to these data points and ongoing supply tightness.
