Hayata's momentum from a gritty comeback win over Sabine Winter in Japan's 2-0 semifinal rout of Germany yesterday has evened sentiment, while Sun cruised 3-0 past Elizabeta Samara in China's semi. Balance stems from Hayata's enhanced rally endurance and recent consistency challenging top Chinese players; odds could shift on early-game aggression, fatigue from team duties, or execution in best-of-seven format.
