The lower-ranked Russian (No. 103) overcame sanctions-limited play history with multiple five-game triumphs, including a 3-2 semifinal win over No. 3 Nina Mittelham, honing her stamina for best-of-seven pressure. Joo, world No. 17, dominated with straight-sets quarterfinal and semifinal results (3-0 over Yashaswini Ghorpade and Margaryta Pesotska), but traders see Abraamian's momentum overpowering Joo's form. Realistic shifts could stem from late Joo injury, withdrawal, or an uncharacteristic fatigue lapse in this high-stakes matchup.
