In the Sarasota Challenger round of 16 on green clay, No. 291 Duje Ajdukovic faces No. 254 Darwin Blanch in their first head-to-head matchup, with trader consensus reflecting a closely contested affair given recent straight-set opening-round wins—Ajdukovic over Sascha Gueymard Wayenburg 6-4, 6-3, and Blanch via Federico Agustin Gomez's retirement at 6-3, 1-1. The Croatian's stronger Challenger clay record (over 60% wins) contrasts the 18-year-old American lefty's momentum from a Miami Masters R2 run last month, bolstered by home-crowd support in Florida. No reported injuries or withdrawals, with mild weather (highs near 80°F) unlikely to disrupt play; outcome hinges on Blanch's power against Ajdukovic's baseline consistency.
