In the ATP Challenger Campinas semifinals on clay, top seed Gonzalo Bueno (No. 211) faces No. 4 Lautaro Midon (No. 223) after both posted strong runs, with Bueno conceding just one set across wins over Bruno Fernandez, Lucio Ratti, and a gritty three-set quarterfinal triumph over Hernan Casanova, while Midon dropped two sets in victories versus Luciano Ambrogi and Juan Pablo Varillas. Their head-to-head stands at 1-1 on clay, highlighted by Midon's three-set win over Bueno in last month's Asuncion Challenger second round following Bueno's straight-sets victory in 2023. Both boast solid 2026 clay records—13-8 for Bueno, 18-10 for Midon—setting up a competitive matchup with no reported injuries and familiar South American swing conditions.
