Clement Chidekh, the top seed ranked No. 179, enters as clear trader favorite against No. 361 Buvaysar Gadamauri in the Wuning Challenger round of 16 on outdoor hardcourt, bolstered by a perfect 2-0 head-to-head record including a 6-3, 6-4 first-round win last October on indoor hard. Both players advanced in straight sets yesterday—Chidekh over Yuki Mochizuki 2-0 and qualifier Gadamauri topping Omar Jasika 2-0—highlighting solid opening form amid Chidekh's recent Challenger consistency (wins over Remy Bertola, Mochizuki) versus Gadamauri's ITF momentum (Heraklion final). No reported injuries; Chidekh's baseline power and experience tilt implied probabilities, though upsets remain possible in best-of-three format.
