In the ATP Challenger Madrid on clay, Nerman Fatic (No. 249) faces Franco Agamenone (No. 282) in the second round after both endured grueling three-set first-round wins—Fatic rallying past Pol Martin Tiffon 6-7(4), 7-6(6), 6-1, and Agamenone, via qualifiers, outlasting Chris Rodesch 5-7, 6-2, 6-1 following straight-set qualification triumphs. Their head-to-head stands at 1-1 on clay, with Fatic's latest 2024 M25 Antalya quarterfinal victory (0-6, 6-2, 7-6(5)) giving him momentum. Agamenone boasts stronger 2026 clay form (11-9, including Buenos Aires Challenger title), while Fatic's career clay record (274-155) underscores endurance. Mild weather around 11°C with possible showers could favor baseline grinders; trader consensus reflects a tight contest hinging on recovery from recent exertions.
