Borna Gojo holds a ranking edge at No. 181 over Juan Pablo Ficovich (No. 208) entering the Morelia Open Challenger final on outdoor hard courts, where their first head-to-head unfolds after both semifinal triumphs within the past 48 hours. Gojo's dominant 2026 form (20-4 overall) propelled straight-set wins over Nicolas Mejia (6-4, 7-6), Timofey Skatov (6-3, 6-4), and Vit Kopriva, leveraging his serve stability on the medium-paced surface. Ficovich, even at 6-6 YTD, showed resilience in a 6-1, 3-6, 6-3 grinder against Luka Pavlovic following a 6-3, 7-5 quarterfinal over Tristan Schoolkate. No injuries reported; traders eye Gojo's momentum versus Ficovich's baseline tenacity and regional familiarity.
