Frederico Ferreira Silva's higher ATP ranking (around 290) and stronger recent form on clay— including a quarterfinal run last week—anchor his 57.5% implied probability as the favorite against Sascha Gueymard-Wayenburg (around 600) in the Split Challenger. Silva holds a surface edge with better clay stats (65% win rate vs. Gueymard’s 52%), solid serve hold (85%), and head-to-head experience against similar aggressive baseliners. No injuries reported for either, but Gueymard’s qualifier fatigue and first main-draw match at this level temper trader optimism on the underdog. Momentum favors the Portuguese veteran in this Round of 32 matchup, though upsets remain possible on variable outdoor clay.
