**Latest National Weather Service guidance and ensemble model runs point to a Dallas high temperature near 101°F on September 8 under sunny skies and southerly flow.** Persistent warm advection from the south, combined with minimal cloud cover and dew points in the upper 60s to low 70s, supports heat indices near 106°F while the dry air mass limits convective development. This places the most likely outcome in the 100–101°F or 102–103°F bins, consistent with the market’s 51% and 23.5% implied probabilities. Historical climatology shows an average high of about 92°F for the date, so current conditions represent a significant positive anomaly, though well below the September 8 record of 109°F. Minor forecast adjustments in the final 24-hour model updates could shift the exact high by 1–2°F.
