Traders assign the highest probability to a 76-77°F high in Los Angeles on September 2, driven by the latest National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble model consensus projecting a typical early-September day under moderate marine layer influence and onshore flow. This aligns with climatological baselines showing average highs near 78°F, with no heat wave or strong offshore winds indicated in current 850 hPa analyses or sea surface temperature patterns. Forecast uncertainty remains, as small changes in boundary layer moisture or afternoon sea breeze timing could shift the peak by a degree or two. New model runs and official updates expected overnight will further refine these ranges ahead of resolution.
