Ongoing monsoon activity across Uttar Pradesh, including heavy showers on September 1 that erased Lucknow’s seasonal rainfall deficit, continues to drive trader consensus toward a 30–31°C high on September 2. Persistent cloud cover, elevated humidity near 85–90%, and scattered thunderstorms limit daytime solar heating and promote evaporative cooling, keeping maximum temperatures near or slightly below recent normals of about 31°C. Official India Meteorological Department guidance projects generally cloudy skies with rain or thundershowers and a maximum near 31°C, while model spreads reflect uncertainty in convective timing and intensity that could shift the peak by 1°C. High soil moisture from recent precipitation further moderates surface heating.
