Jakub Nicod holds a clear edge in the first-round M25 Ceska Lipa clay-court matchup against compatriot Jakub Filip, driven by his higher ATP ranking near 569 compared to Filip’s position around 857 and a 1-0 head-to-head lead from their 2023 encounter on the same surface. Both players compete regularly on the ITF circuit with limited recent high-level results, but Nicod has posted stronger form entering the event hosted in his home country. The outdoor clay conditions favor baseline consistency and endurance, areas where the ranking gap and prior result could influence outcomes in this early-round ITF contest.
