**Forecasts from multiple sources indicate the overnight low in Austin on September 3, 2026, will likely fall in the mid-to-upper 70s°F, driven by persistent southerly flow, high dew points near 70°F, and limited radiational cooling under partly cloudy skies.** Official guidance from sources like WeatherBug and WillyWeather pegs the low near 76–77°F, with highs in the mid-90s, consistent with a broader warm pattern. Historical averages for the date hover around 71°F, but current conditions reflect elevated baseline temperatures from recent heat. Market-implied odds remain dispersed across bins because ensemble models show modest spread in minimum temperatures depending on cloud cover, wind gusts (5–10 mph south), and any late-day shower activity. Traders appear to weigh the risk of slightly cooler clearing versus warmer, more humid nights, with upcoming model runs and NWS updates likely to refine the exact threshold.
