Recent National Weather Service and model guidance point to overnight lows in the upper 70s to low 80s for Miami on September 5, driven by persistent southeasterly flow, dew points near 78°F, and widespread cloud cover plus thunderstorm activity that limits radiational cooling. These conditions align with climatological norms for early September, when average minimums hover around 77°F amid high humidity and tropical moisture. The market's heaviest trading on 78–81°F bins reflects consensus around these forecasts, while the notable share on 73°F or below likely prices in tail-risk cooling from any unexpected clear-sky window or model shift. Updated NWS briefings and evening model runs through September 4 remain the key near-term catalysts.
