Toronto Blue Jays host the Minnesota Twins in the AL series opener on April 10 at domed Rogers Centre, pitting Jays lefty Patrick Corbin—called up April 7 for his season debut—against a Twins starter still TBD amid Pablo Lopez's ongoing 60-day IL stint for shoulder issues. Trader sentiment weighs heavily on Toronto's injury woes, including catcher Alejandro Kirk's six-week absence post-thumb surgery on April 7, third baseman Addison Barger's fresh ankle sprain (10-day IL since April 7), and pitching depth hits from Shane Bieber (elbow), Jose Berrios (elbow stress fracture), and Max Scherzer's recent forearm exit on April 6. Twins' Josh Bell looms large with three career homers in 16 at-bats versus Corbin, fresh off a solo shot April 9, as both clubs sit near .500 early—Jays 5-7 with scant offense (3.78 RPG), Twins struggling at .192 batting average but averaging 4.22 runs per game.
