Washington Nationals carry momentum into Saturday's matchup at American Family Field after a 7-3 upset win in Friday's opener, where Brewers closer Trevor Megill surrendered four runs in a disastrous ninth inning. Probable starters Foster Griffin (1-0, 2.70 ERA) for the 5-8 Nationals and Kyle Harrison (1-0, 2.61 ERA) for the 8-5 Brewers, first in the NL Central, set up a strong lefty duel amid Milwaukee's home dominance (5-1). Brewers miss key OF Jackson Chourio (10-day IL, fractured hand), while Nationals' rotation depth is thinned by long-term IL stints for pitchers like Josiah Gray and MacKenzie Gore. Recent Brewers road losses in Boston precede this series; trader consensus reflects Milwaukee's superior form despite the setback.
