Tomáš Portlík leads trader consensus at 56.5% as the SPOLU coalition candidate, drawing on his record as Prague 9 mayor and ODS first vice-chair amid a field of experienced local figures. The race remains tight because multiple parties field strong challengers—including Petr Hlaváček for STAN, Tereza Nislerová for the Pirates, Adam Scheinherr for the Praha sobě alliance, and Jan Hušbauer for ANO—while the October 9-10 assembly vote requires post-election coalition talks to select the mayor. ANO’s June leadership change after Ondřej Prokop’s withdrawal over asset-declaration questions and limited polling visibility for several contenders have kept implied probabilities clustered. Fresh campaign focus on housing, transport, and schools or shifts in turnout among municipal voters could widen gaps before ballots close.
