Pernambuco's 2026 Senate contest features a crowded field for the two seats, with first-place probabilities clustered tightly among leading contenders. Recent polling from April through June shows Marília Arraes (PDT) holding a narrow edge in vote intention, followed closely by Humberto Costa (PT), Mendonça Filho (PL), and Túlio Gadêlha (PSD). The fragmented candidate list, including several federal deputies and former officeholders, has kept the race competitive without a dominant frontrunner. Trader consensus reflects uncertainty over late-campaign shifts, potential party alliances, and turnout patterns among key regional blocs ahead of the October 4 election.
