Elvina Kalieva holds a substantial edge as the higher-ranked player at No. 140 with a strong 16-7 win-loss record YTD 2026, entering Rouen qualifiers on indoor clay where her experience at WTA 250 level outmatches Astrid Lew Yan Foon's No. 443 standing and recent second-round exit to Sofia Costoulas in Les Sables d'Olonne. This first head-to-head favors Kalieva's consistent form against Lew Yan Foon's 4-4 YTD mark and developing profile, though the French wildcard benefits from home-crowd support at Kindarena. No injury reports or withdrawals noted in the past 48 hours, with trader consensus reflecting Kalieva's surface versatility and Elo rating superiority ahead of this April 11 first-round qualifier.
