In the Mexico City Challenger semifinal on outdoor clay, higher-ranked Luka Pavlovic (No. 200) faces Stefano Napolitano (No. 302) in a rematch of their evenly split 1-1 head-to-head, with Napolitano's straight-sets quarterfinal win over Pavlovic in Kigali last month tilting recent momentum his way. Pavlovic grinded through three-set wins over Facundo Mena, Aidan Mayo, and Rodrigo Pacheco Mendez to reach this stage, dropping a set each time while showing resilience in tiebreaks. Napolitano, on a stronger 18-6 YTD record (11-3 clay), dropped just one set across victories over Martin Landaluce, Juan Manuel Soto, and Tristan Schoolkate. No injury concerns reported, setting up a competitive battle hinging on clay baseline endurance and return games.
