This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the champion of the Peru Liga 1. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to be named as the champion of Peru Liga 1 per the rules of Peru Liga 1 (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after December 14, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the Peru Liga 1; however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The Peruvian Liga 1 Apertura table remains fiercely competitive early in the 2026 season, with Los Chankas and Alianza Lima tied atop on 20 points from eight or nine matches, Cienciano lurking one point back at 19 on superior goal difference (+10), and Universitario close at 18. Recent managerial shakeups, including changes at Deportivo Garcilaso, Atlético Grau, and Sporting Cristal in late March and early April, have injected uncertainty, while Cienciano's high-scoring attack led by Carlos Garcés (8 goals) offsets defensive vulnerabilities across the top eight. With only a handful of games played and playoffs looming for the aggregate leaders, traders reflect this parity in evenly distributed probabilities, underscoring the wide-open race where home form, fixture congestion, and squad depth will prove decisive.
