Recent polling for Berlin’s September 20 Abgeordnetenhaus election shows a tight three-way contest for the top spots, with Die Linke, CDU, and AfD separated by just a few points and the Greens close behind. This positioning leaves traders viewing AfD, Grüne, and CDU as the most plausible candidates for third place, reflected in their respective market shares. SPD support remains lower, while smaller parties like FDP, BSW, and FW sit near or below the five-percent threshold. The narrow gaps and limited time until election day sustain uncertainty, as final turnout, late shifts among swing voters, or campaign developments could reorder the middle of the field before votes are counted.
