Official observations and model consensus align with this range, consistent with typical late-May climatology where highs often reach the low-to-mid 30s amid warming seasonal trends. Traders have priced in this consensus at near-certainty for 34°C, reflecting the narrow uncertainty band in current guidance. A realistic challenge could arise from an unexpected afternoon thunderstorm outbreak or a sharper-than-anticipated frontal boundary that enhances cloud cover and reduces peak temperatures below the threshold.
