Mak Mikovic, a 20-year-old Slovenian with ATP singles ranking around 1800 and prior M15 clay experience, faces 17-year-old compatriot Mark Becirovic Novak in the M15 Kranjska Gora first round on clay. Mikovic brings greater professional exposure from recent ITF events, including qualifier wins and main-draw matches this month, while Becirovic Novak, a junior with ITF junior ranking near 241, transitions into senior competition with limited prior results at this level. The all-Slovenian matchup on home-soil clay favors the more seasoned player’s consistency and match fitness, though the younger competitor’s junior form and surface preference introduce realistic upset potential in an early-round encounter. No prior head-to-head exists.
