HLE enters the LCK Road to MSI BO5 against T1 with strong recent momentum after topping the 2026 regular-season standings and posting an extended win streak, including a 2-1 victory over T1 in May. The Hanwha roster, featuring consistent performers across lanes and jungle, has demonstrated superior macro execution and objective control in high-stakes series. T1, anchored by longtime midlaner Faker and a veteran core, retains historical playoff pedigree and comeback potential but has shown more variability in results and fewer dominant stretches this split. The double-elimination format adds pressure, with winner’s bracket implications for MSI qualification; roster health, patch adaptation, and early-series momentum will heavily influence which side secures the three wins first.
