Roman Zarzycký, the incumbent mayor from ANO since 2022, leads the market at 62% as he seeks re-election in the October 9-10, 2026 communal elections. He secured his party's nomination in May after publicly confirming his intent to continue, and he resigned a newly won parliamentary seat to focus solely on the mayoral role. The governing coalition fields current deputies and councilors as list leaders, while opposition parties have set their candidates, including Lukáš Hegner for ODS at 25.5%. Other listed contenders trail at single digits, reflecting their parties' positioning and limited recent momentum ahead of the vote. Trader consensus aligns with Zarzycký's incumbency advantage and local organizational strength in the weeks before polling.
