This market will resolve according to the player that takes the first snap at quarterback for the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. In the event two listed quarterbacks take the field on the first offensive play of the Las Vegas Raiders’ Week 1 game, this market will resolve in favor of the player directly receiving the snap. If neither listed quarterback directly receives the snap, this market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after September 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or no official starter has taken the field within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL and/or the Las Vegas Raiders; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Kirk Cousins secured the Las Vegas Raiders' Week 1 starting quarterback role through consistent first-team reps in training camp and a steady preseason showing under head coach Klint Kubiak, who previously collaborated with him in Minnesota. The 38-year-old veteran outperformed rookie first-overall pick Fernando Mendoza, whose camp and exhibition play proved inconsistent, while Aidan O'Connell remained the clear third option on the depth chart. Official team announcements and depth-chart reports locked in Cousins ahead of the September 13 opener against Miami, reflecting the coaching staff's preference for veteran stability to open the season. A late injury or abrupt roster shift represents the only realistic path to altering the outcome, though none materialized before kickoff.
