CAG by VARREL enters the APAC North Stage 1 upper-bracket semifinal as the clear favorite after dominating the group stage with an undefeated or near-perfect record, including a 7-3 win over SCARZ on Clubhouse. The July 1 merger of Varrel with CAG Osaka created the current roster, which has maintained momentum through consistent map wins and strong offensive/defensive execution typical of top APAC squads. SCARZ sits lower in the standings with a middling 3-3 group record and has shown vulnerability against elite competition, though the BO3 format and map veto process offer some upset potential on favorable pools. Recent form, head-to-head history, and regional hierarchy shape trader consensus around CAG's implied probability edge.
