Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick has repeatedly signaled that Grand Theft Auto VI will follow current AAA standards with a base price in the $70–$80 range, aligning with recent industry pricing and the title’s goal of broad accessibility ahead of its November 19, 2026 release. No official price has been confirmed, and marketing is slated to ramp up this summer, but executive comments have consistently downplayed premium $100+ entry points for the standard edition. Retailer placeholders or deluxe editions at higher tiers have fueled occasional speculation, yet trader consensus reflects the low likelihood of a base-game increase given historical Rockstar strategy and competitive landscape. A late pivot toward aggressive premium positioning remains a possible but low-probability disruptor before launch.
