This market will resolve to "Yes" if Trump Mobile officially releases a cellphone (including the T1 or any other phone model) by the specified date, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". In order to be considered released, the product must be available for purchase by the general public within the specified timeframe. Announcements, unveilings, reservations, or pre-orders alone will not qualify. Either the T1 or any other phone released under the Trump Mobile brand will qualify. A qualifying cellphone must be a handheld mobile phone; accessories or non-phone devices will not qualify. The primary resolution source for this market will be information from Trump Mobile. However, a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.Trump Mobile, a nascent "America First" wireless carrier tied to Trump allies, announced the T1 Phone on September 25, 2024, touting it as the first 100% American-made smartphone with a 7.8-inch display, 256GB storage, and Truth Social integration, priced at $499 with pre-orders live. Trader sentiment hinges on the lack of a firm release timeline beyond vague "coming soon" promises, amid skepticism over domestic manufacturing feasibility given global supply chain realities and no prototypes shown publicly. Recent buzz stems from promotional posts by Donald Trump Jr., but no shipping confirmations have emerged in the past month, highlighting execution risks in a market dominated by Apple and Samsung. Key catalysts include potential CES 2025 reveals or holiday pre-order fulfillment updates, with resolution tied to verifiable launch by the market's cutoff date.
