Hashimoto's shakehand defensive style, showcased in her recent ITTF World Cup Macao quarterfinal run, excels in prolonged rallies but proved vulnerable in a 2-3 team loss to Sabine Winter at the ongoing London World Team Championships. Mittelham's aggressive right-hand attack poses stylistic disruption, bolstered by her solid team contributions and resilience in WTT Feeder events like Cappadocia II. With no head-to-head history, recent momentum—including Hashimoto's Taiyuan contender exit—creates upset potential; late fitness updates or tactical adjustments could swing odds.
