Margaryta Pesotska's flawless 7-0 record (+21/-5) anchors Ukraine's upset bid against Japan's powerhouse depth led by Miwa Harimoto's dominant 7-0 run (+21/-1). The balance stems from Pesotska's topspin resilience countering Japan's aggressive loops, with service variations or fatigue from Ukraine's back-to-back ties potentially tipping odds in the best-of-five team format.
