In the ATP Challenger Madrid quarterfinals on clay, higher-ranked Nicolas Jarry (No. 156) enters as trader consensus favorite after straight-set victories over Miguel Damas (6-1 ret.) and Dominic Stricker (6-2, 7-6(5)), dropping just one set en route while rebuilding confidence amid prior health setbacks like vestibular neuritis. Nerman Fatic (No. 249), in strong clay form this year (3-3), advanced via a grueling three-set marathon against Pol Martin Tiffon (6-7(4), 7-6(6), 6-1) over three hours, leaving him visibly exhausted and vomiting post-match—key fatigue risk on short turnaround. No prior head-to-head; Jarry's baseline power and surface affinity drive implied probabilities, though Fatic's resilience poses upset potential in this first meeting.
