The 2026 regulatory reset, featuring active aerodynamics, revised power unit allocations, and a new balance between electric and combustion output, has produced unusually even qualifying form across the grid entering the Baku weekend. Mercedes leads the constructors’ standings but has not dominated every session, while McLaren, Ferrari, and Red Bull have each claimed recent poles amid frequent session-to-session swings. Baku’s long straights, tight walls, and emphasis on tire management plus one-lap pace reward different chassis strengths, keeping multiple teams within striking distance on a street circuit where small setup or power-unit tweaks can decide the top spot. Recent FIA ADUO findings granting upgrade scope to several manufacturers further underscore the fluid competitive order, leaving trader consensus pricing the outcome as genuinely open among the listed constructors.

If the 2026 F1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix is canceled or rescheduled to a date after Oct 2, 2026, this market will resolve to “Other.”
This market will resolve in favor of the constructor team that is officially recognized by Formula 1 as having set the fastest time during the qualifying session for the 2026 F1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix. The market will be settled based on the FIA's official qualifying results, regardless of any subsequent penalties, disqualifications, or changes to the starting grid.
For example, if a constructor team sets the fastest qualifying time but later receives a grid penalty or is moved down the starting order, the market will still resolve to “Yes” for that constructor team.
The resolution source will be the official Formula 1 website and a consensus of credible sports news reporting.
