This positions the market-implied odds at near-certainty for the leading outcome, reflecting traders' assessment of stable atmospheric patterns, including northeast winds and moderate humidity levels that limit daytime warming. Historical May highs typically reach 26–30°C, making today's conditions an outlier driven by short-term synoptic influences. While forecast revisions remain possible before the end of the observation period, the convergence of multiple model runs and on-site data substantially reduces uncertainty around exceeding the threshold.
