This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Ben Gurion International Airport in degrees Celsius on 20 May '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column on the specified date once information is finalized for all hours on that date, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=LLBG To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market can not resolve to "Yes" until data for this date has been finalized. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Recent forecasts from global and regional meteorological models indicate a daily maximum of 26°C for Tel Aviv on May 20, aligning with the market’s overwhelming consensus on that outcome. This reflects typical late-spring conditions along Israel’s coastal plain, where May averages hover near 26–27°C according to long-term observational records from the Israel Meteorological Service. Low humidity and stable atmospheric patterns have limited daytime heating, while sea-breeze influences keep temperatures from exceeding the seasonal norm. Traders are pricing in minimal deviation because historical data for mid-May shows tight clustering between 24°C and 27°C, with 26°C occurring most frequently. The primary remaining uncertainty centers on final official verification at the end of the day, though current model consensus and real-time observations strongly support resolution at exactly 26°C.
