Stable high-pressure conditions and clear skies over Cape Town are driving trader expectations for a mild minimum temperature on September 7, with forecast models from sources like the South African Weather Service and international ensembles showing overnight lows in the 15–17°C range amid light southeasterly winds and minimal cloud cover. Recent observations confirm above-average temperatures for early September, with no approaching cold fronts or significant cooling expected before the market resolves. This setup supports the leading market-implied probabilities clustered around 13–19°C, while the low odds on extremes below 11°C or above 19°C reflect limited variability in current guidance. Updated model runs and official minimum readings will determine final resolution amid typical seasonal uncertainty in coastal temperatures.
