Los Angeles Mad Drops enter the MLP St. Petersburg group-stage matchup as clear favorites at 69% implied probability, driven by their dominant early 2026 form and superior roster depth. The team sits at 11-1 overall after capturing the MLP Dallas title undefeated, securing maximum standings points with wins powered by Ben Johns, Jade Kawamoto, Catherine Parenteau, Max Freeman, and Genie Bouchard. Utah Black Diamonds, by contrast, finished near the bottom of the Dallas standings with just 4 points and lack comparable star power or recent momentum. Head-to-head results and team DUPR ratings further support the gap, with no reported injuries or roster changes altering the balance ahead of the June 18 contest in Group A.
