This market will resolve according to the winner of Titled Tuesday on September 8, 2026 11:59 PM ET. If the listed player does not play their corresponding market will resolve to "No". If this tournament is postponed after September 22, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, canceled, or a winner has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other." If multiple players are declared winner, this market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizer, Chess.com (https://www.chess.com/events/info/2026-titled-tuesday-blitz); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Nakamura and Carlsen lead the Titled Tuesday field at 19% and 18.5% implied probability respectively because of their unmatched historical dominance in the weekly 11-round blitz Swiss, where Nakamura holds 90 career wins and Carlsen 37.** Recent September 1 results showed a razor-thin top end with Niemann, Duda, and Sarana all scoring 10/11, underscoring how tiebreaks, late-round pairings, and small edges decide outcomes among 400-plus titled entrants. The broad distribution of 4.5–7% probabilities across Erigaisi, Lazavik, Firouzja, Movahed, and dozens more reflects the event’s inherent variance: strong recent form, rating edges, and home preparation matter, yet any GM can post a near-perfect score on a given Tuesday. This depth keeps the race tightly bunched, as no single player has demonstrated consistent separation in the current cycle.
