Fighting out of Vancouver at Tristar Gym, Siraj enters on a two-fight submission streak—rear-naked chokes in catchweights—following a TKO loss to ex-UFC vet Diego Brandao, buoyed by his inspiring comeback from a 2020 brain infection coma and subsequent auto-immune issues, plus home-crowd energy. Yannis, dropping from featherweight, hunts his first Octagon win after a Round 1 rear-naked choke defeat to Austin Bashi last August, leaning on TKO power (five career finishes) from Fury FC but vulnerable to grappling. Weigh-ins loom Friday, with no reported injuries.
