Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". “Public testimony” refers to any testimony that is publicly accessible live (in-person or remote) via official livestream, television broadcast, or other live audio/video distribution. Any testimony or deposition that is closed-door or otherwise not publicly accessible will not qualify, even if recordings or transcripts are later released. The resolution source for this market will be live video or audio of the testimony; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**No public schedule, announcement, or official process points to DataRepublican (Jennica Pounds) appearing for congressional testimony by October 31.** Pounds gained prominence through independent analysis of federal grants, NGO funding flows, and spending data via her site and X account, with amplification from figures like Elon Musk during DOGE-related discussions. Her work has prompted media interviews and public commentary but remains outside formal government roles or committee invitations. No House or Senate committees have announced hearings featuring her as a witness, and searches of recent reporting show no statements from lawmakers, staff, or her own channels indicating plans for such testimony within the timeframe. As a private analyst rather than an agency official or nominee, any appearance would require a specific committee request tied to legislation or oversight—none of which has materialized in verifiable developments. The 90.5% “No” consensus reflects this absence of procedural steps or political catalysts, consistent with historical patterns where independent data contributors rarely receive formal congressional platforms absent targeted invitations.
