Latest National Weather Service guidance points to a Denver high near 84°F on September 9 under partly to mostly sunny skies with light easterly winds and isolated afternoon thunderstorms possible. This positions market-implied odds for 82–85°F ranges as the central cluster, reflecting model consensus on modest daytime heating above the 81.5°F climatological average. Key differentiators among closely matched bins include the timing and coverage of convection, which can reduce insolation and cap peaks in the lower 80s, versus clearer morning conditions allowing greater surface warming toward the mid-80s. Dew point trends around 45–50°F and minimal wind shear further support incremental rises unless early cloud build-up occurs. Updated model runs and NWS briefings tomorrow morning will refine these thresholds ahead of market resolution.
