The closely matched market odds across the 82–91°F range reflect short-range forecast uncertainty in Miami's afternoon convection and sea breeze patterns expected on September 8. Official NWS guidance points to highs in the lower 90s amid high humidity and an 70–80% chance of thunderstorms, which can limit peak temperatures through increased cloud cover and evaporative cooling. Recent model runs show modest spread driven by the exact timing of seabreeze-initiated storms typical for early September in South Florida. Updated NWS Miami briefings and higher-resolution guidance over the next 48 hours will likely refine the expected maximum.
