**Forecast consensus for Incheon/Seoul on September 6, 2026, centers on a daytime maximum of 28–29°C under mostly sunny to clear skies with moderate northeast winds of 7–12 m/s.** Multiple models and official outlooks (Met Office, WeatherBug, aviation meteorology, and others) align on this range, following slightly warmer conditions earlier in the week (highs near 30–33°C on September 3–4). Clear skies and dry air support efficient daytime heating, while the persistent northeasterly flow off the Yellow Sea provides modest cooling compared to peak summer patterns. Historical early-September baselines for the region average highs near 27–28°C, so the current setup sits slightly above normal but well below extreme thresholds. With the event only two days away, small differences in cloud cover timing, wind strength, or exact measurement site (Incheon International Airport versus central Seoul) can shift the recorded high by 1–2°C. This genuine short-term forecast uncertainty—typical when models converge near a narrow range—explains the flat 18.5% implied probabilities across all bins, as traders price in the full plausible envelope around the 28–29°C consensus rather than committing to a single outcome. Updated model runs and official briefings in the next 24–48 hours will likely tighten the distribution.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=rksi
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
