**Forecast consensus from the National Weather Service and private models points to a mostly sunny Saturday with northerly flow limiting afternoon heating, producing a daytime high of 80–82°F.** This aligns with the long-term August 29 average high of 81°F and recent observations showing stable late-summer conditions after Friday’s 82°F peak. The market’s heavy weighting on the 78–79°F bin (53%) versus 80–81°F (28%) reflects traders pricing in modest model spread and the possibility of slightly cooler boundary-layer mixing, while the low probability on 82°F+ outcomes tracks the absence of strong southerly advection or high pressure subsidence. Updated model runs and official NWS briefings ahead of peak heating remain the key near-term catalysts.
