The 2027 Best Actor race remains highly competitive on Polymarket, with no actor exceeding a 33% implied probability as traders price a crowded field of star-driven vehicles ahead of full awards campaigns. Matt Damon leads at 26% on the strength of his physically demanding turn in Christopher Nolan’s summer blockbuster *The Odyssey*, while John Malkovich has climbed to 32% following strong early buzz for Martin McDonagh’s *Wild Horse Nine*. Andrew Scott’s recent Telluride reception for *Elsinore* and Tom Cruise’s overdue-narrative push in Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s *Digger* keep those names in the mix at 17.5% and 13.5%. Festival reactions, guild precursors, and late-year reviews will likely reshape the leaderboard before nominations voting opens in January.
