Jannik Sinner's straight-sets victory over Carlos Alcaraz in the Monte Carlo Masters final last weekend propelled him back to ATP world No. 1 and slightly ahead in trader consensus at 35.5% implied probability for the 2026 Wimbledon title, with Alcaraz at 35.0% in a razor-thin race reflecting their combined dominance—Sinner's 20-2 record and Alcaraz's 21-3 through early clay season. Alcaraz's superior grass-court history, including multiple Wimbledon triumphs and a 90%+ win rate on the surface, balances Sinner's overall form and recent head-to-head edge, while Novak Djokovic's ongoing shoulder injury withdrawals from Miami and Monte Carlo have dimmed his 6.1% share despite seven prior SW19 titles. Pre-grass tuneups like Halle and Queen's loom as key tests.
